Did Google+ Lead to a Compromise of my Gmail?
So here is my question (since the support number is glaringly missing from your website.) Is Google Plus secure? I am tending to think NOT.
I am fully convinced that I have no interest in gathering yet another database just to have it compromised. I actually deleted my Google Plus account immediately because I know that is the only place in my Google network that people can randomly add me whether I know them or not.
And for the fool who instigated this, I really to pray for your soul. It’s clear you are headed to a bad place. And karma is real, so you’ve got lots of trouble coming your way. It’s not from me, but from the karma police. You really can’t escape it.
P.S. Google, I have been a faithful patron for many years, spent thousand of dollars in your Ad Network, and managed hundreds of thousands of dollars (directly of indirectly) so it would be great if you’d have someone contact me. I know you know how to find me.

Wondering if Google plus is the reason why I can’t logged in on my main Gmail account. I’m on your side. Google plus 1 sucks big time. I hate the interface and all the circle stuff.
Sorry to hear it.
I know it can be frustrating, and my personal Twitter recently had a similar problem; but I think you should maybe consider that it is entirely possible that this was a coincidence, and not the fault of Google+?
In other words, the fact that you recently included Google+ into your Google account, that doesn’t *necessarily* prove a causal relationship.
I only say this because I also have used Gmail for half a decade, and have had a Google+ account since its roll-out, and so have most of my colleagues, and I haven’t heard of anything like this happening (anecdotally or online/in the news).
Either way, I hope you have fully recovered!
@ Mel – The interface was clearly built by “techies.” It’s not much on user experience.
@ Greg – You know, the two incidents may not be related at all (with the exception that Google is the connecting factor.) I have just lost a bit more faith in Google from a security and vulnerability standpoint, so I am choosing to not participate in Google+
Definitely did mine. going to make another pass and cleaning it out now as a result of reading this..
If they want to compete with Facebook, then they better take note the importance of a user friendly interface.
