@ Test Link – I am pretty confident that no upstart will affect Google. Even the people who left Google to try and launch “better search engines” such a Cuil have failed. I will note that Cuil has failed miserably as confirmed by a search prior to completing this reply.

It would have been nice if a fellow search engine marketeer actually did get the position. Perhaps they could ‘right the ship’ before Google loses touch with it’s marketshare. As sure as Firefox has eaten away and the once thought invincible Internet Explorer in the web browser market, so too will a well organize upstart search engine put the vice on Google. And sooner rather than later if the currently direction of Google continues.
