I am right there with you and it made me realize that I should have pointed out that reading print is much easier on the eyes over time. Also, I enjoyed visiting your blog - good stuff. I spend 12+ hours on my computer everyday but that's still not enough learning for me. When I want to keep absorbing new info but need to get off the box, I turn to my most recent issue of php|arch or to a book I've just received from Amazon. I tend to read 2-4 textbooks a month. I like to be able to tear pages out and save just a snippet of info out for future reference. I mean you can probably do that with an online magazine too but why waste the ink in your printer if you don't have to. I also enjoy various print versions of parenting magazines. I'm a contributing writer for two magazines and am looking at adding a third one. Blogging is important to me, but magazine writing pays better and has a higher appeal for me. Lots of magazines do have an online presence, but there are reasons to still have a print copy. What else would we read while we're waiting to go? ;-) I certainly hope so!
