One more tip: when you are short of ideas (maybe you were too busy at work to jot them down or fell asleep in a meeting!), surf around, find a blog post with a good idea and improve on it (don’t forget to link to them, so they can’t say you stole their idea!)

@ Kevin. My advice is to just start. You can’t break anything by starting a blog or testing the waters in Social Networks. My only advice is make sure you know (and follow) the rules set forth by whatever social community you get involved with.

One of these days the whole idea of Social networking, RSS feeds will all make sense to me. Particularly, HOW to incorporate for my type of business.
